I graduated Cum Laude from my Biology and Spanish dual degree from the Honors Program, and the International Scholars Program. Both programs require an intensive amount of dedication to your studies, and involvement in campus life/community. It was extremely rewarding to be able to enrich my educational experience through these programs.

In order to graduate from the Honors Program at UF I maintained a 3.5 GPA while also:
-
Completing Honors Coursework in classes like:

-
International Scholars
As a part of the International Scholars Program at UF I developed intercultural competence by:
-
Completing a BA in Spanish and taking at least 4 fully or partially international courses
-
Studying abroad in Spain for 6 weeks with a Host Family from Seville
-
Participating in global events on campus like English Language Institute activities
-
Creating an e-Portfolio to document my accomplishments and achievements
My time in the International Scholars Program has pushed me to achieve, connect, and learn. I have grown professionally and personally through my involvement in the English Language Institute and my study of Spanish. It is so meaningful to have a program like the ISP at UF push me to become a better global citizen, and to learn what it means to be a Global Gator.
